seattle 46 (willow sculpture class-pratt-render me dead-dog trainer-auditions)

i am sooo bummed. the class i signed up for at pratt has just been cancelled cuz only 2 folks enrolled! it was a living willow sculpture class. aka make little outbuildings, pergolas etc... out of willow shrubs/trees!

i'll still do it but my shape is going to be more like a dugout aka screen behind my letterpress studio for when the bay door is open.
i was plucking out the $220 bucks cuz i might as well learn from a pro-artist and this op has never come my way and i have been looking into it for a year. thx for the heads up chris O.
good news would be that now i can attend the auditions happening that weekend for greg's film, going into production next month, render me dead.
extra special good news last night was that a dog trainer contacted greg from out of the blue asking if there was a role for a dog and yes, karmel was starring as patsy. this guy has a wheaten terrier he has been working with but maybe he'd want to try out working with karmel anyway. no matter and his dog "looks" more like asta (in the vain of the thin man films).
anyway auditions sound like great fun cuz just the 100ct head shot/resume session was a hoot sort of like a trash mag. i think i would love to be a casting manager.
peggy v (from mgardeners) convinced me i wouldn't want to be a window display designer (which i also thought would be a fab job-the whole temporary art bit of it) cuz i guess you don't really have the freedom you would imagine.
