landscape design 21 (new nook/update)
been working in the yard full-time here's an update from the
beginning
to breaking ground
completely bricked & planted-2005
current = 1 season's growth-2006

greg may not have, but i sure knew, that this section was going to be modified.
check out the
beginning,
2005,
to what is now bricked & planted-2006-will be lush in 2007

crossed a lot of plants off my wish list (i am a total addict i don't believe a week has gone by without buying more plants this season) as well as the hazelnut shell ground cover/garden path-shown below.
so far karmel has had one sharp shell edge lodged in her paw but no worries and the squirrels haven't gone crazy searching for nut meat. the alaskan fish fertilizer pellets were more of a draw for all of the animals.
yes, fern is on the table?!

bought a huge box of toys from dog.com.
this is fern with one of the "one-use" toys-as they all are.

karmel who is wearing her citronella anti-bark collar cuz she can't keep her trap shut if... she doesn't have the toy in her mouth.

allium in june caught my eye, as well as...

a bloom on my dogwood tree.
