interior design 12 (kitchen sink/backsplash/counter top/talavera tile/caulk lines)

i can offically say my tiling project is done! i'm especially proud of myself for this one, check it out.
this is the kitchen sink & counter, pre-epiphany.
dif. tile combo but all still coordinates with the kitchen nook .
the tiles along the backsplash are what i have been sitting on for about a year, till i found their countermates. (new faucet and deep, deep sink too- w/a windowon it's way)
check out my caulk lines. no, really, check out my caulk lines. i don't know if i have ever experienced such satisfaction. the KEY use tape on both edges of your line, run it, smooth it then pull immediately.
i have given many o' hours and tubes to the craft/skill of caulking. you just can't get edge lines like these, without tape.
it may even be recommended on the back of the tube. i just thought of tape as something for amateurs (esp. w/pt) and... i stopped reading directions a long while ago.
this is how i ended both side walls.
this is the guadalajara tile (found/$ via craigslist) that ends up matching the tin mirror in my adjacent front room.
