frenettik 28 (skot/northwest cleaning/ad design/pon/all asian cuisine/menu and web design)

made this simple ad (i'm a sucker for white space) for skot aka scott (met up in our highschool years and i believe he was signing his work as skot and it stuck)
he is working on a small biz op with a friend running & recruting for northwest cleaners. he should have drawn the image himself- cuz he can -but he found this groovy little japanese cleaning girl (ofcourse w/permission from the artist) for me to scan in and pop around with some text. (i thought the sharpie pen font was appropriate for cleaners, reminded me of a mom marking her kid's clothes.)

pon is back. she came into seattle a couple weeks back and had me put together a winter menu for pon's all asian cuisine. i hear biz is going very well even as they hit winter in a fishing town (ennis, mt).

i also was given the go to start back working on her website. i am told the restaurant colors fall into the red, orange, yellow realm- which is a delight for me.

i have decided to make all pages long and rectangular to emmulate japanese poetry sheets or chinese red envelopes aka asian size of stuff to me. will duplicate the look for her to go menu too.

i am very happy with how darn cute the menu pop up pages are.

she is planning to start canning her sauces by the new year so a little e-shop wil be on it's way.

it's a new kind of working relationship for me where she doesn't actually have a computer set-up so it's all about the phone vs. email.

proofing is done by me posting files on her site with a call telling her to go to the library and open them up as pdfs. it's actually been working great!
